I like this place because of the Japanese lady who works there. I always order from her. Her sashimi is really great. I’d like to give 5 stars but I have to give 3, because the employees who are on the main floor serving customers do not wear a mask. (When the Japanese lady comes up to serve, I can see she is always wearing a mask.) Even worse, the mask less employees come close to you and talk sometimes. We also all wait in line to get in because of the covid policy but they sometimes let more people in when there is already one or two groups shopping inside. I was pregnant for a while and I didn’t feel safe whenever I went there. My husband has a heart condition and my baby is still very tiny so I don’t really want to bring back the virus from shopping. I’d go more often if the face covering issue could be resolved.

We are big fans of this fish shop. They have Japanese homemade ready to eat foods on Thursdays. Delicious.

Best selection of fish I have seen for many years and other items smoked in house . Frozen foods also not the most expensive or cheapest but certainly the best quality fish I have found for many years. You get what you pay for the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. A must visit if you are in Primrose hill
